20 weeks

20 week picture:

Anatomy scan went very well.  Both girls are estimated to weigh 11oz and measure 8.5 inches long.  I've been having some contractions but there hasn't been any change in my cervix which is good news.  They'll just be sure to keep an eye on that.  Both babies were very active during the u/s but especially Baby B.  It was a little harder to get her measurements because she just wouldn't be still.  At Taylor's request they checked the genders again.  No surprises!  They have such cute profiles - I can't wait to see them in person!

Update on the girls!

Things have still been going well.  Here's the 15 week belly:

We had another u/s with the perinatologist on 9/23 (16w3d) where it was confirmed we are definitely having 2 girls!  Here are...........

Kynley Brooke & Addyson Leigh:

One baby weighed 5oz and one weighed 6oz.  This is in the 60th and 65th% for their "age".  They looked great!!  And this was the first u/s where there was no fluid in my abdomen!  It only took 16 weeks......

I've been seeing a chiropractor for some back pain I've been having for the past several weeks.  With weekly visits and icing my back nightly, it's slowly improving.  I'm still not able to do a whole lot but I'm moving around better than I was before.  Something else I've never dealt with in a pregnancy before?  Round ligament pain.  Ouch!!  Being pregnant at 33 is way different than being pregnant at 25.  That in combination with carrying two babies makes things interesting!!!

These babies are so active!  I started feeling them pretty early but around 18weeks I started feeling them every day.  And now it's several times each day. Brandon even felt some kicks last week.

I have the 20week anatomy scan tomorrow afternoon so hopefully I'll get an update up in a timely manner.
